1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Legal Policy Generator (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Disclaimer of Legal Advice

The documents generated by this Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. We are not a law firm and are not a substitute for an attorney or law firm. We cannot guarantee that the policies generated will be suitable for your specific needs or that they will comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. You should consult with a qualified attorney to review your legal documents.

3. How the Service Works

Each generator asks you a series of questions and turns your answers into a document from our templates. The form data and the finished text are processed in your web browser. If you use the history or company-profile features, that data is saved in your own browser's local storage so you can come back to it; it is not uploaded to us for storage, and clearing your browser data deletes it. The one exception is the Legal Page Checker: when you ask it to check a website, the address you enter is sent to our server so it can fetch that site's public pages and report which legal pages it finds.

4. Your Responsibilities

The documents are only as accurate as the answers you give. You are responsible for checking that a generated document describes what your business actually does — the data you collect, the services you use, how refunds or deliveries work — and for keeping it up to date when those things change. A policy that does not match your real practices can create more risk than having none.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from using the Service to generate misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content, or to misrepresent who operates a website or business.

5. Using the Documents You Generate

You may copy, edit, publish and use the documents you generate for your own websites, apps and businesses, including commercial ones, without paying us or crediting us. You may not resell or redistribute our generators or templates as a competing template product or service.

6. No Warranty

The Service and the documents it produces are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that a document is complete, current, or compliant with a particular law. Laws such as the GDPR, CCPA and the US state privacy acts change, and their application depends on facts about your business that we do not know. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legal Policy Generator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service or of any document it generates.

8. Third-Party Links and Advertising

The site links to laws, regulators and other third-party websites for reference, and may display advertising. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites. How advertising and analytics cookies are used is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
